Successful Type Testing of the TRANSRADIO High Power U3 VHF/FM Family of Transmitters
The TRANSRADIO high power U3 VHF/FM family of transmitters was successfully type tested on 28/29 April 2009 by the ARD (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland) in accordance with the current technical guidelines 5/1.0 and 5/3.1.
The type testing certified the outstanding technical quality of the new TRANSRADIO U3 transmitter family. Thus TRANSRADIO is now able to present to the broadcasting market a future oriented high power family of transmitters following up on the success of the U1 transmitter family.
The final completion of type testing will take place in the middle of May with trials of the SNMP remote control interface.
