Block Diagram of the Transposer TP3280
The received signal of the transposer is demodulated down to an MPX signal. In the transmitter section this MPX signal modulates the new transmission frequency.
The VHF/FM transposers distribute programmes to local areas or areas which are difficult to access, for instance, in valleys or behind mountains, without high investment in fixed line connections for programme delivery.

Transposers
The exciter T3270 can be easily replaced by a transposer T3280 thus converting every high-power transmitter into a high-power transposer. Furthermore, a transposer version T328X is available based on the corresponding low-power transmitter. Consequently, transposers from TRANSRADIO cover the power range from 5W to 30KW.
