3 X 300KW MW TRANSMITTERS IN SPAIN ON AIR
On the 10.th June 2009 TRASRADIO successfully finalized, in accordance with the contract, the installation and commissioning of three TRAM 300 MW transmitter systems for Radio Naçional de España (RNE) after a construction phase of only 3 months.
The three new transmitters replaced the old Telefunken tube transmitters from the 90’s at the stations Madrid, Seville and Barcelona.
With the implementation of the new TRAM transmitter systems, RNE utilizes, aside from significant energy savings and lower maintenance cost, the DRM capability of the three new medium wave transmitters.
Apart from the exceptional quality values, shown as examples above, RNE was very satisfied with the deadline schedule and the tight project management of TRANSRADIO in cooperation with our Spanish partner Vimesa.
Pedro Muniesa, responsible Manager for Vimesa Madrid:
“RNE has replaced three 300 kW tube transmitters with three new solid-state TRAM 300 transmitters from TRANSRADIO. TRANSRADIO and Vimesa (marketing partner of TRANSRADIO in Spain) delivered turn-key systems, including all services which were necessary to exchange the three transmitters without compromising normal RNE broadcasting operations in any way. RNE is extremely satisfied with the splendid cooperation of both companies in this project and with the successful result.”
