TRANSRADIO SenderSysteme Berlin AG presented a live demonstration of DRM at the booths of Continental and TRANSRADIO. At the booth of Continental a 10KW MW transmitter (TRAM 10) equipped with a DRM-DMOD2 transmitted the DRM signal and at the booth of TRANSRADIO the DRM transmission of the 10 kW MW was received with one of the first commercial consumer receivers.
Mr. Senger, Chairman of the DRM Consortium, stated: “The presentation of the DRM at the booth of Continental was a great success. The majority of the comments from the visitors were positive and by far our best performance ever in the USA. The small MW transmitter on a dummy load from TRANSRADIO performed very well in the hall.”
Being at the NAB with a live- DRM presentation reflects the leading role of TRANSRADIO. Today, TRANSRADIO has the highest number of installed DRM transmitter in service.
