Fraunhofer DRM ContentServer™ R4 released
TRANSRADIO has announced the immediate availability of the new release of the Fraunhofer DRM ContentServer™ R4 in it’s DRM-solution. The new revision defines a landmark in the easy creation of rich broadcast signals for the Digital Radio standard DRM.
The new Fraunhofer DRM Contentserver R4 was presented with a MW-transmitter TRAM 10 (10KW) and the leading DRM-solution DRM DMOD2 from TRANSRADIO at TRANSRADIO booth at IBC 2005 exhibition in Amsterdam.
The Fraunhofer DRM ContentServer R4 enables the production of a ready-to-broadcast MDI data stream (Multiplex Distribution Interface) for Digital Radio Mondiale for direct input in every DRM Modulator/transmitter. Broadcast scheduling enables the broadcasters to activate any multiplex configuration right on time – either manually, or automatically by weekly schedules or by calendar – with all reconfigurations duly pre-announced to the receiver.
